A staple at Grateful Dead concerts for years – in the band’s latter years, paired with its trusty companion, “Space” – Phish has deployed this rock and roll staple rather sparingly. Given Fishman’s well-documented distaste for drum solos, “Drums” usually involves a guest: 4/21/94 and 10/15/94 with Carter Beauford, 7/25/97 with Bob Gullotti, 8/11/04 with Trey living out a life-long fantasy, and 8/2/09 with Billy Kreutzmann.
