Review by DollarBill

DollarBill This was a hit and miss type of show with multiple tape cuts and possibly multiple sources in the bootleg that I heard. First set audience, second set soundboard.

First set starts off with a strange My Sweet One with a long intro suggesting there were sound or monitor problems, or some type of last second adjustments. I think that's what prompted the language signals. Reba is really nice. ATR is pretty good right into a rocking Sloth. Not sure what they are trying to tease/learn during the Possum intro. It's Ice has a blown last chorus, sounded like Trey got anxious going into the final change. Dinner sounded pretty good until it got cut off before the ohh and ahh middle part. Tape flip maybe? Bouncing is completely cut. We pick it up again in Buried Alive. Uncle Pen sounds a little unsure at times. Sounds like a false Bowie intro before Horn. Horn is ok. Not sure again what they are teasing in the Bowie intro. Pretty good Bowie closer.

Second set is surprisingly a clearer soundboard mix starting off with Misty Mountain Hop teases from Trey and Mike. Page says something about a hand blown glass Phish bowl? Pretty good Gin although Mike has some sloppy moments. The begining of YEM has some sloppy Trey moments. Maybe they did confirm their Summer Tour with Santana as Trey teases Oye Como Va again. The YEM vocal jam contained weird phrases like "God damn Pearl Jam!" Guelah is pretty good. Chalkdust is good until it also gets cut off. Second tape flip? Pick it up during Cold as Ice into a good Terrapin. Fish uses the vacuum to sing the last verse, and then his segment ends with, what is becoming a trend, a HYHU. Rocking back end with Poor Heart, Llama and a good Cavern closer.

Not sure if they paused longer or not but, the bootleg has Trey saying thanks right away and going into an ok Jim encore.

Just a really average show for me. Nothing too special, a little too loose.
