This stellar show begins with little charisma as the band runs through several average (but not poorly played) hits before a ripping Mike's Groove. The Weekapaug in particular is madness. Things turn to 11 for the rest of the show. A nice Esther leads to a slow, funky Cavern. The set closing Possum is shredded by Trey and takes a detour into Buried Alive during the intro. It's a little jarring but very fun. Nice set, hear the Groove and the Possum if nothing else.

Set two begins with a short Suzy and a bare but nicely played Forbin's. The next two tunes are great but what you'll take away from this set is the monster YEM. Sublime, tight playing and cooperation from everyone as well as thrilling solos from Trey make this one to grab. Sweet vocal jam, too. Lizards, IDK, and a teasefest Bowie close this set in fine form. A slick Lawn Boy and a rousing La Grange round out the show nicely. Generally above average playing throughout and a few soaring highlights make this a four star show. Also, the SBD is real easy on the ears.
