And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
so what do we think about the change of pace? calling oklahoma as the sleeper show. no even the phish can get me to go to that godforsaken state
some difficult/backtracking travel for anyone planning on doing the entire leg
i like seeing them play new/different places

What was wrong with the Dick's shows last year? I had a great time and it was so nice to have clean bathrooms and plenty of concessions right there at set break, not 1/2 mile away in a muddy field. I just hope that they open up more aisles after the shows so that there's not the crush at one or two like last year.
$158 starting price for the Bill Graham shows on Stub Hub.
On the other hand, it's a good thing the shows are spread over most of the country instead of 20 shows in the NE.
If the band is trying to "make money" out west, they wouldn't play BGCA. Dick's may not be perfect, but it does have camping, easy access, GA seating and the knowledge that everyone gets a ticket. The obvious love the band has for the location and the killer sunsets before they take the stage makes up for a lot.

I would freakin' love it if they played the Gorge but looks like that isn't going to happen. The same Glide article I referenced earlier said “No additional Phish dates will be announced for Summer or Fall of 2012.” Does this mean no Halloween show? Nothing more until New Year's?
