Elektra 61274; Producer: Phish
The title comes from the line that replaced the original phrase "penile erector" in the common set-ender "Cavern".
The first printings of the CD came in the longbox, and the title of the disc was not printed on the disc insert. Later printings came in the shrink-wrap instead of the longox, so had the title imprinted on top of the picture of Nectar.
Billboard Magazine said, 3/2/92, that this, the band's "major-label debut ... should be required on all college listening lists. The songs are all over the place from whacked-out rock to bluegrass to jazz. The constant is the high quality of musicianship and spirit that runs from track to track. Many of the tunes are instrumentals, and there's certainly no guarantee you"ll understand what the hell the band is talking about on the songs with vocals. But just relax and enjoy. Could be a left-field hit." Posted by Mike Pelczarski.
Outtakes reportedly include Runaway Jim.
